The President's Lunch 2009
Despite inclement weather in many parts of the UK, one hundred Academicians and their guests met for this annual event at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London on the 18th December.
Following lively conversations over drinks and an excellent lunch, guests heard talks from David Willetts MP and Professor Ian Diamond AcSS of the ESRC. Many new Academicians received their certificates from the President, Sir Howard Newby AcSS, who also presented the Jo Campling Memorial Prize to this year's winner.
The Academy acknowledges its gratitude for sponsorship of this event by Sage and Taylor and Francis.
