Communications Officer

I work part-time on a freelance basis, supporting Academy communications, based largely at home in Portsmouth but attending meetings and other events in London or elsewhere as necessary. My main roles include supporting the Academy website, producing the E-Bulletin, and supporting meetings. I am also involved with other Academy projects in various capacities and sit on the Communications Committee.

With a strong academic background in religious history and thought, having studied at Bristol University and Merton College, Oxford, plus experience of working both as a schoolteacher and for the British Computer Society, I bring a variety of skills and experience to my work for the Academy. Otherwise I am kept busy with my four children and my other work editing the journal of a national family history society and minuting board meetings for an international charity.
