This one-day event provides a forum for researchers, teacher-educators and teachers to discuss our current English curriculum and the ways in which the subject is assessed in school and Further/Higher Education contexts. Debates around the divergence of the curriculum from contemporary forms of communication, the concepts of ‘quality’ inherent in the curriculum and the privileging of certain aspects of the subject will also be highly relevant.
The call for abstracts is open until Friday 15th February.
