The Academy’s prestigious annual President’s Lunch will be set in the President’s own college where he is Master – University College Oxford.
This highlight of the Academy’s social calendar will afford excellent networking opportunities in this historic surrounding. The University College, Oxford is the oldest college in Oxford or Cambridge.
The speaker this year will be the esteemed British Journalist, former editor-in-chief of the Guardian and Principal of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford Alan Rusbridger. He will explore the topic of fake news, digital transformation and democracy.
The President’s Lunch provides an elegant setting for Learned Societies to entertain guests and network. Additionally, new fellows are encouraged to take this opportunity to receive their certificates from the President. Pre-lunch drinks will be held in the College Bar followed by a three-course lunch in the Dining Hall.
