The Department of Communities and Local Government is looking to recruit one Non-Executive Director to its Board. Application deadline 17th June, noon.
Non-Executive Directors attend the Department’s Board which meets 5 times per year and is chaired by the Secretary of State for the Department, the Rt. Hon Greg Clark MP. They also attend the Interim Board between Non-Executive Directors and the Department’s Executive Team. The role of a Non-Executive Director is to bring independent oversight, support and constructive challenge to the Executive, through influence and advice.
In addition, the successful candidate will be asked to engage with the department’s Change programme, playing a lead role for the departmental Non-Executive Directors in supporting, advising and challenging the department in the design and implementation of its Change programme.
Non-Executive Directors may also be involved in working groups or offer advice and support to individual director’s general and directors.
