New Fellowship nominations welcome for spring 2021
30 September 2020
The Academy welcomes nominations for new Fellows. It is particularly keen to receive nominations for deserving social scientists in the BAME communities, who are currently under-represented in the Academy.
Nominees must be people of established status and reputation, demonstrating excellence in their chosen academic field or profession and who have made a substantial contribution to wider social science – For example, to policy or practice – going beyond the normal requirements of their position. Nominations can be made by individual Fellows, by member learned societies and by the Academy’s two search committees.
The Practitioner Fellow Search Committee would welcome suggestions of eminent practitioners deserving of Fellowship. Please email to Kate Atkins at [email protected] by 14 October.
Nominations can be submitted at any time during the year – please email them to us at [email protected]. The deadline for the next round of nominations is Friday 4 December 2020. These will be considered by our Nominations Committee and Council in January 2021. A public announcement will be made after that.
Further information and nomination forms are available here.
